RoboForex has published jurisdictional restrictions affecting UK clients. It therefore should not be assumed to be an available UK live route merely because it is a Nexus Preferred Broker in other jurisdictions.
REVIEW BROKER ELIGIBILITY →Nexus supports both MT4 and MT5. Your Nexus licence must match the MetaTrader platform and trading account number on which the EA will run.
MetaTrader 4 remains widely used for Forex automation. Select MT4 when your demo or licensed live trading account operates on the MT4 environment.
MetaTrader 5 is a newer MetaTrader environment. Select MT5 when the broker account covered by your Nexus licence is an MT5 trading account.
Account-specific licensing requires the trading account number and the correct platform build. Nexus does not need your broker password, MetaTrader master password, banking credentials or VPS password.
Not necessarily. For automated Forex trading, reliability and connectivity to the broker infrastructure used by your account are generally more important than simply choosing a server labelled “UK”.
A London VPS may be useful when it provides good connectivity to your broker's trading infrastructure. Compare stability, resources and network performance rather than geography alone.
A VPS allows MT4 or MT5 to remain online without depending continuously on your home computer, home internet connection or Windows power settings.
The free 60-day demo is separate from the Nexus Preferred Broker programme. If you later decide to use Nexus live, you can choose the Preferred Broker live route or use another compatible broker through the Own Broker Licence.

There is no fixed Nexus limit on qualifying Preferred Broker live accounts. Each eligible funded Nexus Preferred Broker live trading account can receive its own account-specific Nexus licence after successful verification.
Each Nexus live licence is prepared for the eligible live trading account number that has been submitted and verified.
Additional eligible funded Preferred Broker accounts can receive additional Nexus licences after each account successfully completes verification.
This means unlimited eligible live licences, not one transferable EA file that can be attached to arbitrary accounts.
Nexus has commercial referral relationships with selected brokers. When an eligible trader independently chooses to open and trade through an official Nexus broker relationship, Nexus may receive partner or referral compensation from that broker.
After successful verification, an eligible funded Preferred Broker live account can receive its own Nexus licence without a separate Nexus software purchase.
Nexus does not hold or custody trading capital. Deposits, withdrawals and trading funds remain with the broker selected by the client.
The decision to open, fund or trade through a broker is yours. Demo access does not require you to open or fund a Preferred Broker account.
