Nexus EA Performance This Month at a Glance

Nexus completed 198 live EURUSD trades during the September 1–29, 2026 reporting period, finishing with a net result of +$2,871.34 after converting the cent-account values into actual dollar figures. The month was built on a combination of strong trade volume, positive expectancy and several standout winning sequences, while still recording a realistic number of losing trades.

The most important credibility point is not only that the month ended profitably. It is that the September data shows both sides of live automated trading: 139 winners, 59 losers, no flat trades and a 2.60 profit factor. That is a healthier way to review a Forex EA than only focusing on the best trades or a single profit screenshot.

Trading activity was spread across 21 active trading days, with every trading day in this reporting period ending positive on a realised closed-trade basis. The largest daily contribution came on September 14, when the account closed +$1,179.31 despite also recording losing trades that day. That matters because it shows the month was not loss-free or artificially smooth. It was a live trading month with real wins, real losses and a positive final outcome.

About the Cent Account

This is a real-money cent account. Monetary figures displayed in cents should be interpreted accordingly. In this report, the profit values from the September account data have been divided by 100 to show actual dollar figures. Percentage performance is more useful for account-to-account comparison than the nominal cent balance, so readers should review the public Myfxbook account alongside this trade-level report.

EURUSD EA Performance This Month

September was entirely driven by EURUSD activity in the reviewed monthly account data. No GBPUSD trades were recorded during this specific reporting period.

EURUSD Metric Result

Sell Trades 77
Sell Net P/L +$487.80
Timeframe M15

EURUSD produced a high level of trade activity across the month, but the results were not evenly distributed. The buy side was the major contributor, producing +$2,383.54 across 121 buy trades. Sell trades also finished positive, producing +$487.80 across 77 trades.

This is useful because it shows Nexus did not rely only on one side of the market. Buy trades carried the month, but sell trades still contributed positively. For a pair like EURUSD, this is important because September was shaped by shifting expectations around the Federal Reserve, ECB inflation pressure and incoming US labour-market data.

The best individual EURUSD trade was +$1,301.82, recorded on September 14. The worst individual trade was -$153.01, recorded on September 23. The gap between the best and worst trades is also important. It shows that one strong winner had a meaningful effect on the month, but the overall result was supported by a wide base of smaller trades rather than one isolated outcome.

The average trade was +$14.50, which is a useful headline figure because it smooths out the large winners and individual losers. A positive average across 198 trades suggests that the month’s edge came from the combination of win rate, loss control and occasional larger favourable moves.

GBPUSD EA Performance This Month

No GBPUSD trades were recorded in the September 2026 account data used for this report.

This does not mean GBPUSD is unimportant to Nexus. It simply means that the September 2026 monthly account data reviewed for this report contained EURUSD trades only.

This is worth stating clearly because monthly results should not imply activity that did not occur. If GBPUSD did not trade during a given reporting window, the correct reporting approach is to show that transparently rather than forcing a pair section that is not supported by the data.

For traders reviewing Nexus, inactivity on a pair can be just as useful as activity. A rules-based EA should not manufacture trades simply because a market is open. If the programmed entry conditions are not present, no trade should be taken.

What Didn’t Work This Month?

September was profitable overall, but it was not a loss-free month. The account recorded 59 losing trades, with the worst individual trade closing at -$153.01.

September 14

September 14 closed with 13 trades, including 4 winners and 9 losers, but still finished with a net daily result of +$1,179.31.

September 23

September 23 closed with 13 trades, including 4 winners and 9 losers, but still finished with a net daily result of +$741.34.

This is exactly why monthly performance needs to be reviewed properly. A day can contain more losing trades than winning trades and still finish strongly positive if the winning trades are larger than the losers. That does not make losing trades irrelevant. It means traders should evaluate the full distribution of results instead of judging an EA by win rate alone.

The lowest positive trading day was September 3, with 3 closed trades and +$12.00 net profit. That is positive, but it also shows that not every active day generated a large return. Some days were modest, controlled and quiet.

Professional takeaway: Nexus produced a strong September, but the month included normal losing trades and uneven daily distribution. That is how live automated trading usually looks.

Why Nexus Did Not Trade Every Day

Nexus does not manufacture trading activity simply because the Forex market is open. If the programmed conditions are not present, no trade is taken.

The September reporting period shows 21 active trading days between September 1 and September 29. The EA did not close trades every calendar day, and that is normal because weekends, session conditions, volatility levels and strategy filters all affect whether an entry is valid.

Date Trades Closed Net P/L
Sep 115+$112.31
Sep 24+$18.69
Sep 33+$12.00
Sep 410+$133.61

Sep 247+$30.21
Sep 259+$57.22
Sep 2812+$53.49
Sep 2912+$65.99

The most active days were September 1 and September 22, each with 15 closed trades. The quietest active day was September 3, with 3 trades. This range is useful because it shows that trade frequency varied with conditions rather than remaining fixed at a predetermined number every day.

Market Conditions That Influenced EURUSD & GBPUSD

This does not mean Nexus entered trades because of specific economic releases. The EA operates according to its programmed strategy. The events below are mentioned because they materially affected volatility, spreads, market direction and execution conditions during the reporting period.

ECB September Rate Decision and Inflation Outlook

The ECB raised its key rates in September 2026, with the deposit facility, main refinancing operations and marginal lending facility moving to 2.50%, 2.65% and 2.90% respectively from September 16. The ECB also reiterated a data-dependent, meeting-by-meeting approach that depends on the inflation outlook, underlying inflation and policy transmission.

For EURUSD, this matters because a more restrictive ECB can support the euro, especially when inflation remains a concern. However, EURUSD is always a two-sided pair. Even a firmer ECB backdrop can be offset if US data supports the dollar.

Bank of England September Policy Decision

The Bank of England maintained Bank Rate at 3.75% at its September 2026 meeting, with the Monetary Policy Committee voting 6–3 to keep rates unchanged.

This was more relevant for GBPUSD than EURUSD, but it still mattered for broader dollar and sterling sentiment. GBPUSD can become more volatile when markets adjust expectations around BoE policy, especially if UK growth and inflation signals do not point in the same direction.

US Core PCE and Consumer Spending

US inflation and spending data remained important during the month. Core PCE is closely watched by the Federal Reserve, so stronger inflation or spending data can support the US dollar by keeping policy expectations more restrictive. For EURUSD and GBPUSD, that can create sharp intraday moves and wider volatility around US data windows.

US Labour-Market Focus Into NFP

Labour-market expectations can affect EURUSD and GBPUSD before the actual NFP release because traders adjust dollar exposure in advance. Even though this September report ends on September 29, positioning ahead of labour-market data can influence late-month volatility.

US Manufacturing and Jobless Claims Into Month-End

US manufacturing and jobless-claims data also mattered because they affected the market’s view of US growth, inflation pressure and Federal Reserve policy. For EURUSD, stronger US data can create dollar strength. For GBPUSD, the effect is similar, but it interacts with UK-specific rate expectations.

Monthly Drawdown & Risk Review

Monthly drawdown should always be reviewed through full account-level equity data rather than only through closed-trade profit and loss. For that reason, readers should review the public Myfxbook account alongside the monthly trade statistics in this report.

Risk Metric Result
Losing Trades 59
Worst Trade -$153.01
Gross Loss -$1,794.11
Largest Losing Day None recorded on a closed-trade daily basis
Lowest Positive Day September 3: +$12.00
Profit Factor 2.60
Average Trade +$14.50
Maximum Winning Streak 14 trades
Maximum Losing Streak 9 trades

The key point is that drawdown should always be reviewed alongside return. A system producing higher returns through disproportionately higher exposure is not automatically superior. Traders should review account equity, balance behaviour, lot size and drawdown together before making decisions.

How This Month Compares

September 2026 stands as a strong standalone month, with +$2,871.34 net P/L, 198 closed trades and a 70.20% win rate. For wider comparison across multiple months, readers should use the Nexus performance database rather than judging the EA from one month alone.

Month Net P/L Trades Win Rate Drawdown
September 2026 +$2,871.34 198 70.20% Review on Myfxbook

This is the correct way to compare performance over time because one month alone can never fully describe a trading system. A strong month is encouraging, but the deeper question is how the EA behaves across different volatility regimes, central-bank cycles, quiet sessions and high-impact news periods.

What We Learned From This Month’s Trading

The most useful observation from September is that the month was strongly positive despite several losing clusters.

September 14 and September 23 both recorded more losing trades than winning trades, yet both days finished with large positive net results. That tells us something important about the month’s trade distribution. The performance was not built on avoiding losses. It was built on keeping enough favourable trade movement to more than offset losing trades.

A second useful observation is that buy-side EURUSD trades dominated the month. Buy trades generated +$2,383.54, while sell trades generated +$487.80. Both directions were profitable, but the buy side carried most of the net result.

A third observation is that daily consistency was strong on a closed-trade basis. The report shows 21 active trading days, all positive. This should not be interpreted as a future expectation. Losing days can and will occur in automated trading. But for this specific September reporting period, the realised daily closed-trade record was unusually consistent.
